PSYLLIUM BLOND

Optimisation of transit and sand intake

PSYLLIUM BLOND is an exceptional source of soluble fibre known as mucilage. On contact with water, these fibres swell and form a thick gel: in the horse’s digestive system, this acts like a mechanical broom, trapping sediment (soil, sand) so that it is passed out in the droppings.
It also helps to lubricate the intestinal lining and regulate bowel movements, particularly when these are sluggish.

PSYLLIUM BLOND also has a beneficial effect on gastric health.

Why should I give my horse PSYLLIUM BLOND?
- As a preventative measure or if the horse has ingested sand or soil
- For horses with slow bowel movements, complicated digestion and/or sensitive intestines
- For horses with a history of colic
- In cases of irregular bowel movements, particularly where this results in occasional bouts of diarrhoea
